Congress has officially designated the first week of June as National CPR and AED Awareness Week in hopes of encouraging state health and EMS departments to help raise awareness of lifesaving skills in the local community.

What is your department doing to celebrate the week? In general, what has been done in the past to teach CPR or purchase AEDs for public use? What do you feel is the most important thing to teach the public during this week? Share your thoughts.
