I'm going to a fire/ems/resuce show this weekend and one of the big things I'm looking at buying is a new, good, stethoscope. The $12 one works fine for class, but in the field, not as much. I was told that Littmann was really good, but recently was told by a few people that MDF was far better (and their warranty is amazing).
I don't need anything over the top. I'm taking the EMT-B test in less than a month, and will eventually be going paramedic sometime in the next 2-3 years. I'd like something that will stick around for a while. Any suggestions or recommendations (I'm not "married" to the idea of littmann or MDF, just going off of what people tell me).
